Error 400: admin_policy_enforced when signing-up for YeshID
Last updated: August 6, 2025
If you receive the following authorization error when connecting Google Workspace, this is because access to your account data is restricted by policies within your organization.
Error 400: admin_policy_enforced
We see this error occur with folks that have a Legacy Google Workspace Account (these were typically what used to be called “Google for domains” and are grandfathered into free plans named ‘GSuite legacy’ or ‘Google Workspace Business Starter (free edition)).
Add YeshID as a Trusted App
Add YeshID as a Trusted App. Note: “Trusted App” is Google Terminology. YeshID has already gone through the OAuth app verification process and we have been reviewed and approved by Google.
From Google Admin, navigate to Security > Access and data control > API Controls > Manage Third Party App Access
Select Add app and select Oauth app name or client ID
Search for YeshID
Select the application
And then on the next screen select the check mark with the OAuth Client ID. Press the SELECT button.
Give permissions to your full domain (all users). Press CONTINUE.
Select Trusted. Press CONTINUE.
Press FINISH.
Go back to YeshID and login to the application again, and restart the onboarding process by visiting https://app.yeshid.com/signup
